SUNDAY MORNINGS - SUNDAY EVENINGS - WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE

Adult Classes 8:00AM

BREAKFAST CLUB - Gary Cousins - Rm. 6 (All Ages)

Biblically centered discussion and great food.   The Breakfast Club gets its start by using the Nazarene quarterly and discussion takes off from there! The Nazarene adult curriculum uses a pattern of systematic bible study and real-life application. In August we will conclude a study of the Seven Churches of Revelation. During September, October, and November, we will be in a study of Judges and 1 and 2 Samuel. This will give us an opportunity to examine the leaders and rulers of early Israel, including their successes, their failures, and their encounters with God. Our journey will lead us to ask: "Who will be ruler of my life?"

Adult Classes 9:30AM

CORNERSTONE - Jesse Soulia - Rm. 3 (All Ages)

Book & Bible study with interactive sharing.   Current topic: Selections and discussions about Beauty: The Invisible Embrace by John O'Donohue, and the biblical call of "Beauty" in each of our lives. To help us rediscover and awaken to the true sources of compassion, serenity and hope in a world preoccupied by mediocrity, frantic gratification, and ugliness.

COMMON GROUND- Gary & Marcy Weber/ Gary & Cindy Francis - Rm. 4/5 (All Ages)

Focus on faith, family, finance and fellowship. Currently studying Intentional Parenting, by Doug & Cathy Fields.  Here's a description: "Every parent has dreams for their children. As parents, we all start out with the best intentions. Although, at some point, we move from DREAMS to DUCT TAPE and hope that each day everything will just stick together. Raising kids in today’s culture is a difficult challenge and it requires a plan. Without a plan, parents usually default to Quick-Fix Parenting. Let’s face it: it’s just easier to focus on immediate problems rather than deal with the deeper and more important ones. Surviving each day is much easier than taking the time and energy to consider how parenting actions impact a child’s future. We get it. To be an exceptional parent, you need to be an intentional parent. But, don’t worry! You’re not alone and Doug and Cathy are here to help. They’re veteran parents who can help you move from Quick-Fix Parenting to Intentional Parenting."

NEARLY/NEWLY MARRIED - Matt Lobban - Rm. 6 (Youngish Adults)

An interactive class for the newly & nearly married.  Feel free to join us, and don’t worry about being late to class since most of us have kids to drop off upstairs in Base Camp or in Discovery Camp! Current study: Christian: It's Not What You Think, by Andy Stanley. What does it mean to be a Christian? Ask 100 people that question and you are likely to get 100 different answers. In the Christian Study Guide, an eight-session small group study correlating to the Christian DVD study, you will explore with pastor and bestselling author Andy Stanley the message Jesus gave his followers to define and empower them.

TRUE - Bill Loftis & Jeff Funck - Rm. 7 (All Ages)

We have just begun studying the TRUE believer and what is at the heart of missions.  Join us as we study the heart of God and God's heart for reaching this world.

CONNECT 4 - Pastor Todd Womack - Rm. 14 (All Ages)

Biblical & topical studies. Current study: 3:16 The Numbers of Hope, by Max Lucado. Description: If 9/11 are the numbers of terror and despair, then 3:16 are the numbers of hope. Best-selling author Max Lucado will lead us through a word-by-word study of John 3:16, the passage that he calls the "Hope Diamond" of scripture.  Within the next 12 weeks, the Connect 4 Sunday School class will explore this scripture and discern how the Holy Spirit would lead us to "Connect to the World”.  We’d love to have you join us!

Adult Classes 11:00AM

SEEKERS - Don Hocott - Rm. 3 (All Ages)

Come join an interactive group of mature adults studying the Bible and it’s real-life application which triggers interesting and lively discussions. Everyone gets a study book (free) plus additional lesson materials sent by email prior to each weeks lesson. In The Seekers Class you will feel loved, accepted and prayed for. We are SEEKING... to be all God wants us to be. We are currently undertaking an in-depth study of holiness and will be in that until the end of November.

FOOTSTEPS IN FAITH - Jim Stephenson - Rm. 4/5

This class, designed for people of all ages, focuses on biblical studies with interactive learning.  We also place a great emphasis on prayer and create space within our class for intercessory prayer.   Currently we are studying the book of Isaiah and several themes contained therein.

SHEPHERDS - Ken Johnson - Rm. 7

(All Ages)  Interactive discussion style.  The Shepherds class is continually seeking "hidden treasure" within various books of the Bible, or in character studies of well-known men or women of the Bible. We like to make our class think, so we ask lots of questions, and encourage class participation via discussion. We even throw in a little humor once in a while :-)  Starting 8/21, we will begin a study on the book of Acts.

WOMEN WALKING WITH CHRIST  - Hattie Christian - Rm. 14

Looking for a women's Sunday School class? Women of all ages are invited to share God's love in this class.  In August we will be looking at this topic:  "Relevant Faith For The Real World: Evangelism, Holiness, and Social Action // Books of the New and Old Testament." In September we will be focusing on walking with Jesus through a study on "The Sermon on the Mount," Matthew 5-7.  Each lesson is designed to bring women closer to Christ; to explore a life of seeking, finding and living a holier life--a life that Christ wants us to live; being committed to pleasing Christ, not man; and sharing and caring about one another's walk with Christ as we meet each Sunday.

LEGACY BUILDERS - Ron Sadler & John Lamb - Family Center

A multi-generational class specifically focused on in-depth discovery of biblical truths that can be understood in contemporary America.  Please join us as we explore our Judeo-Christian heritage, revealing the Messianic promise.  The only book you need for this class is the Holy Bible.   Our current studies are focused on the kings of Israel, taken from the books of Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, and 1 and 2 Chronicles.  All lessons are posted in our group in MyCentral.
