Focus on faith, family, finance and fellowship. Current study: Ask It: The Question That Will Revolutionize How You Make Decisions, by Andy Stanley. Description: Should I take this job? Buy this house? Marry this person? Before you ask another question, ask the most important question of all.  In this six-session DVD and the companion book, Andy Stanley identifies the one question that makes it easy to determine the answer to all other questions. Through Andy’s dynamic teaching style, you’ll learn how to make decisions with confidence simply by applying the question that brings clarity to life’s most challenging decisions.

Book & Bible study with interactive sharing.   Current study: I'd Like You More If You Were More Like Me, by John Ortberg. Description: We were created for deep connections. When people have deep connections, says John Ortberg, they win in life. When they don’t have deep connections, they cannot win in life. I’d Like You More if You Were More like Me offers help in overcoming one of the biggest obstacles to making deep connections: the fact that we’re so different. Different from God and different from each other.

THE BRIDGE - Jon Livengood - EMD DISTRICT OFFICE (4038 Carmanwood Dr.)  //  (Young Adults)

The Bridge is our 18-29 year old group, geared towards college students, young singles, and young couples. Current study: Charitable Discourse, by Dan Boone. Description: Homosexuality, social drinking, and politics . . .Why is it so hard to talk about these topics and others like them in the church? What keeps us from having open and honest conversations about complex and controversial issues? The silence in the pews about these matters can be deafening. Often members say little, fearing disagreement and rebuttal, others strongly assert half-truths and biases. Nothing gets truly discussed, and many, especially the youth, become discouraged and leave.A Charitable Discourse insightfully explores why this happens, looking closely at the ways people avoid and prevent authentic dialog, from labeling and grandstanding to religious abuse. Seven controversial issues are discussed with understanding, sincerity, and compassion.

OVERFLOW - Matt Lobban - Rm. 6 (Youngish Adults)

With frankness sprinkled with humor, Idleman invites you to live the way Jesus lived, love the way he loved, pray the way he prayed, and never give up living for the One who gave his all for you.

SHEPHERDS - Don Hobson & Larry Page - Rm. 7

(All Ages)  Interactive discussion style.  The Shepherds class is continually seeking "hidden treasure" within various books of the Bible, or in character studies of well-known men or women of the Bible. We like to make our class think, so we ask lots of questions, and encourage class participation via discussion. We even throw in a little humor once in a while :-)  Our current topic is the book Humility: The Beauty of Holiness, by Andrew Murray. In November we will study "Genesis: The Book of Origins."
