Sunday school is a valuable interactive Bible teaching time for all children. Classes for grades 1-5 meet at 9:30 AM. Sunday Morning. Children’s Worship meets at 11:00 AM in Base Camp. The first Sunday of each month, we celebrate Family First Sunday, where children have the opportunity to worship with their parents/caregivers in the sanctuary. Sunday School classes are provided at 9:30 and 11:00 AM.
Sunday Morning Worship
Base Camp combines high-energy activities with Bible-based teaching for boys and girls in grades 1 through 5. A combination of games and fun-filled songs capture kids' attention while also showing them that living for God is the best thing out there. Grades 1 through 5 meet for worship, lessons, games, and prayer at 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings. Enjoy worshiping God with both adoration and fun learning.
Family First Sundays
We believe in the importance of intergenerational worship and as a result we gather as families every first Sunday of the month. This means that children mirror their parent's schedule and only attend Sunday school once. Sunday school is offered at 9:30am and 11:00am.
Children gather for a large group worship time followed by a small group time of application. Small groups provide the opportunity for children to grow together spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. The large group time is a time of games, worship songs, and a story from the Bible.
Children's Bible Quizzing
This year we will study the Book of Matthew. We will be meeting on Thursday nights from 6-8PM at Pastor Janet's home (dinner is included each week). We will begin September 7th and conclude in March 2018 (Click here for a full district quizzing schedule). You can sign up to be on the quiz team in Base Camp on Sundays and Wednesdays. For more information on children's quizzing click here.
The LEAD team is a program for 5th graders to develop their skills as leaders in Base Camp. They go through an application process and meet monthly for leadership training. They also assist Pastor Janet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights with tasks to help with worship.
